French Onion Pork Chops with Potatoes

Instructions

Step 1 Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
/n Step 2 Season pork chops with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
/n Step 3 Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear pork chops until golden brown on both sides, then remove and set aside.
/n Step 4 In the same skillet, melt butter and cook sliced onions over medium heat until deeply caramelized, about 15–20 minutes.
/n Step 5 Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
/n Step 6 Sprinkle flour over the onions and stir well to combine.
/n Step 7 Gradually pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to create a smooth gravy.
/n Step 8 Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
/n Step 9 Layer sliced potatoes in a baking dish and pour a portion of the onion gravy over them.
/n Step 10 Place the seared pork chops on top and cover with the remaining gravy.
/n Step 11 Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes, then uncover and bake an additional 15–20 minutes until potatoes are tender.
/n Step 12 Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
