Instructions
Step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Stir until well combined.
Step 2: Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust. Freeze for 15 minutes.
Step 3: Spread softened chocolate ice cream evenly into the chilled crust. Smooth the top and freeze for 1 hour or until firm.
Step 4: Spread the whipped topping over the frozen ice cream layer. Drizzle with hot fudge and top with crushed Oreo pieces or whole cookies.
Step 5: Freeze the entire pie for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Step 6: Before serving, allow the pie to sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes to soften slightly. Slice and enjoy!
Storage Information
Store leftover mud pie in the freezer, tightly covered with plastic wrap or in an airtight container, for up to 1 week. Let soften slightly before serving again.
