Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange crab legs in a single layer on a baking sheet or oven-safe dish.
Step 2: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and red pepper flakes if using.
Step 3: Pour the garlic butter mixture over the crab legs, ensuring they are well coated.
Step 4: Cover with foil and bake for 15–20 minutes, until heated through.
Step 5: Remove foil and baste crab with the melted butter in the pan. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Storage Information
Store any leftover crab meat in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in a covered skillet with a bit of melted butter to maintain tenderness. Avoid microwaving to preserve texture and flavor.
