Garlic Butter Lobster Tails

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2: Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise. Gently pull the meat up and out, keeping it attached at the base.

Step 3: Place lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, meat side up.

Step 4: In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 5: Remove from heat and stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

Step 6: Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each lobster tail.

Step 7: Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.

Step 8: Serve immediately with lemon wedges and any remaining garlic butter drizzled on top.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftover lobster tails in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. They’re best enjoyed fresh, but can be gently reheated.

To reheat, place lobster tails on a baking sheet and cover loosely with foil. Warm in a 350 degree oven for about 5 to 7 minutes until heated through, being careful not to overcook the delicate meat.

For a quick reheat, you can also use the microwave on 50 percent power for 1 to 2 minutes, though the oven method preserves texture better.
