Instructions
Step 1: Wash and cut the potatoes into fries, then soak them in cold water for 20–30 minutes before drying thoroughly.
Step 2: Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
Step 3: Fry the potatoes in batches until golden and crispy, then transfer to paper towels.
Step 4: While still hot, toss the fries with grated parmesan cheese and a little chopped parsley.
Step 5: In a bowl, season the steak cubes with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Step 6: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 7: Add the steak cubes and sear for 3–5 minutes until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness.
Step 8: Reduce the heat slightly and add butter, minced garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and chili flakes if using.
Step 9: Toss the steak bites in the garlic butter sauce for 1–2 minutes until glossy and fragrant.
Step 10: Sprinkle chopped parsley over the steak bites.
Step 11: Arrange the garlic butter steak bites and parmesan fries on serving plates.
Step 12: Garnish with extra parsley and serve immediately while hot.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftover steak bites and fries separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat the steak bites in a skillet over medium heat with a small amount of butter until warmed through.
Reheat fries in the oven or air fryer at 375°F for several minutes until crispy again.
Avoid microwaving the fries if possible, as they may lose their crisp texture.
