Instructions
Step 1: Cut potatoes into fries and soak them in cold water for 15 minutes to remove excess starch.
Step 2: Pat the fries dry and deep fry or air fry at 200°C until golden and crispy, about 15-20 minutes.
Step 3: Season your steak strips with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
Step 4: Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat and add the minced garlic, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 5: Add the steak strips and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until seared and caramelized.
Step 6: Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until softened and golden.
Step 7: While the steak finishes, arrange fresh lettuce on a plate and top with cucumber slices and cherry tomatoes.
Step 8: Drizzle the salad with olive oil vinegar and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Step 9: Plate everything together: fries, steak bites with caramelized onions on top, and your fresh salad on the side.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store cooked steak bites and fries in separate airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep the salad separate to prevent it from becoming soggy.
Reheat the steak bites in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes to restore their tenderness. Reheat fries in the oven at 180°C for about 8-10 minutes to restore crispiness.
For best results, enjoy the salad fresh and only prepare it right before serving.
