Instructions
Step 1: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
Step 2: Season your cubed steak generously with salt, black pepper, and paprika on all sides.
Step 3: Working in batches if needed, sear the steak bites for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked to your desired doneness. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
Step 4: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter and minced garlic. Stir constantly for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
Step 5: Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the garlic butter sauce.
Step 6: While the steak cooks, prepare your fries according to package directions or until golden and crispy.
Step 7: Transfer the hot fries to a plate and sprinkle with grated parmesan and dried parsley.
Step 8: Plate the steak bites alongside the loaded fries and drizzle any remaining garlic butter sauce over the top.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftover steak bites and fries separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The steak will stay juicier this way.
To reheat, warm the steak bites gently in a skillet over low heat with a splash of water or broth to prevent drying out. Reheat fries in a 375°F oven for about 5 minutes until crispy again.
For best results, enjoy this dish fresh and hot right off the plate. The combination of juicy steak and crispy fries is truly at its peak immediately after cooking.
