Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Shrimp with Baby Potatoes & Green Beans

Instructions

Step 1: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak bites with salt, pepper, and paprika, then sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.

Step 2: In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp butter and melt over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until just pink. Season with salt and pepper, then remove and set aside.

Step 3: Boil baby potatoes in salted water for 10-12 minutes until tender, then drain and toss with a bit of butter and seasoning. Steam or blanch green beans for 4-5 minutes until crisp-tender.

Step 4: In the skillet, melt remaining butter over medium heat and add minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant, stirring constantly.

Step 5: Return steak bites and shrimp to the skillet, add lemon juice, and toss gently to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes until warmed through.

Step 6: Arrange steak bites, shrimp, potatoes, and green beans on a plate. Drizzle with the garlic butter sauce from the pan and garnish generously with fresh parsley.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep the sauce separate if possible to prevent the vegetables from becoming soggy.

Reheat gently in a skillet over medium-low heat with a splash of butter, stirring frequently. You can also microwave individual portions for 1-2 minutes, but the skillet method preserves the steak’s texture better.

This dish is best enjoyed fresh, but it makes an excellent meal prep option for lunch the next day. The flavors actually meld together nicely overnight, making it a convenient option for busy schedules.
