Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Rice and French Fries

Instructions

Step 1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

Step 2. Combine the rice, water or beef broth, and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook for 15 to 18 minutes until tender.

Step 3. Remove the rice from the heat and let it rest, covered, for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and stir in the chopped parsley.

Step 4. Prepare the French fries according to package directions until golden and crispy. Season lightly with salt.

Step 5. Season the steak pieces with paprika, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper.

Step 6. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 7. Add the steak bites and sear for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness.

Step 8. Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet and toss the steak in the garlic butter for 1 minute.

Step 9. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Step 10. In the same skillet, add the sliced red onion and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until softened.

Step 11. Add the cherry tomatoes and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes until they begin to blister and soften.

Step 12. Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss everything together for 1 minute.

Step 13. Arrange the rice and French fries on serving plates.

Step 14. Spoon the garlic butter steak, onions, and tomatoes alongside the rice.

Step 15. Garnish with additional parsley and serve immediately.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftover steak, rice, fries, and vegetables in separate airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheat the steak and vegetables in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through.

Add a splash of water or broth when reheating the rice to restore moisture.

For the best texture, reheat the fries in an oven or air fryer rather than a microwave.

Cooked steak and rice can be frozen for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
