Instructions
Step 1: Peel and cut the potatoes into thick fries. Rinse them in cold water and pat completely dry with paper towels.
Step 2: Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F. Fry the potatoes in batches for 4 to 5 minutes until lightly golden. Remove and let them rest.
Step 3: Increase the oil temperature to 375°F and fry the potatoes again for 2 to 3 minutes until crispy and golden brown. Season immediately with salt, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Step 4: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak cubes with salt and black pepper.
Step 5: Sear the steak bites for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness.
Step 6: Reduce the heat to medium and add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir well to coat the steak bites in the garlic butter sauce.
Step 7: Place the crispy fries on a serving platter or container and top with the garlic butter steak bites.
Step 8: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley over the top before serving warm.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftover steak and fries separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat the fries in an oven or air fryer at 375°F for 5 to 7 minutes to restore crispiness.
Warm the steak bites in a skillet over medium heat for a few minutes until heated through.
Avoid microwaving the fries if possible, as they may become soggy.
