Instructions

Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Season the steak pieces with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Step 3: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 4: In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the sliced onion for 3–4 minutes until softened.

Step 5: Add the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Step 6: Return the cooked steak to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.

Step 7: Add the cooked penne pasta and mix everything together until evenly coated.

Step 8: Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.

Step 9: Serve warm with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
