Instructions
Step 1: Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat and set aside.
Step 3: In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Step 4: Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Add Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Step 5: Add the cooked tortellini, beef, sausage, and chopped spinach to the skillet. Toss everything gently to coat in the creamy sauce.
Step 6: Top with shredded mozzarella or extra Parmesan and let melt slightly before serving.
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave, adding a splash of cream or milk if needed to loosen the sauce.
