Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish or roasting pan with foil for easy cleanup.
Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
Step 3: Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and season all over with salt and pepper.
Step 4: Arrange the chicken legs in the prepared baking dish. Pour the glaze evenly over the chicken, turning the pieces to coat them well.
Step 5: Bake uncovered for 45–55 minutes, basting with the glaze halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and nicely browned. Internal temperature should reach 165°F.
Step 6: For extra caramelization, broil on high for the last 2–3 minutes, watching carefully to avoid burning.
Step 7: Remove from oven, spoon extra glaze from the pan over the chicken, and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until warmed through. You can also freeze cooked glazed chicken for up to 2 months; thaw in the fridge before reheating.
