Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Step 2: Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels.
Step 3: In a large bowl, combine olive oil, melted butter, honey, soy sauce, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Step 4: Coat the chicken pieces evenly with the seasoning mixture.
Step 5: Arrange the chicken pieces on a baking tray lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
Step 6: Roast the chicken for 45 to 50 minutes, turning once halfway through cooking.
Step 7: Baste the chicken with the pan juices during the last 10 minutes for extra glaze and color.
Step 8: Continue roasting until the chicken is golden brown, caramelized, and fully cooked.
Step 9: Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Step 10: Arrange the roasted chicken on a serving platter lined with lettuce leaves.
Step 11: Serve hot and enjoy.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftover chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Freeze the roasted chicken in freezer-safe containers for up to 2 months.
Reheat the chicken in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until warmed through.
You can also reheat individual pieces in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes.
For crispier skin, reheat in the oven or air fryer instead of the microwave.
