Grilled BBQ Chicken Fillet

Instructions

Step 1 In a bowl, mix barbecue sauce, olive oil, soy sauce, honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
Step 2 Place the chicken fillets in a zip-top bag or container and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for deeper flavor.
Step 3 Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates.
Step 4 Remove chicken from marinade, letting excess drip off. Grill for 5–6 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Step 5 During the last minute of grilling, brush additional BBQ sauce over the fillets for a glossy, caramelized finish.
Step 6 Remove from grill, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve hot.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftover chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat or in the microwave until warmed through. Great for meal prep—add to wraps, sandwiches, salads, or rice bowls.
