Grilled Chicken Fries and Salad

Instructions

Step 1: Peel and cut the potatoes into fries, rinse them with cold water, and pat dry with paper towels.

Step 2: Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or fryer and fry the potatoes until crispy and golden brown. Remove and lightly season with salt.

Step 3: In a bowl, season the chicken strips with paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, black pepper, salt, olive oil, and lemon juice.

Step 4: Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken strips for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until fully cooked and slightly charred.

Step 5: In a large bowl, combine chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, green onions, parsley, feta cheese, and salad dressing.

Step 6: Toss the salad gently until everything is evenly coated.

Step 7: Prepare the fresh tomato salsa by mixing extra diced tomatoes with chopped green onions and a pinch of salt.

Step 8: Arrange the grilled chicken, crispy fries, salad, and tomato salsa on a serving plate.

Step 9: Serve immediately while the chicken and fries are hot.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftover grilled chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep the salad and fries in separate containers to maintain freshness and texture.

Reheat the chicken in a skillet or microwave until warmed through. Reheat the fries in an oven or air fryer at 180°C for 5 to 7 minutes to restore crispiness. The salad and salsa are best served fresh and should not be reheated.
