Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your waffle iron and lightly grease it.
Step 2: Pour a layer of waffle batter onto the waffle iron.
Step 3: Place a slice of cheese and ham on top of the batter.
Step 4: Add another slice of cheese over the ham.
Step 5: Pour a little more batter on top to cover the filling.
Step 6: Close the waffle iron and cook until golden brown and crisp.
Step 7: Carefully remove the waffle sandwich and let it cool slightly.
Step 8: Slice and serve warm while the cheese is still melted.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in a toaster oven or skillet until warmed through and crispy. Avoid microwaving as it may make the waffle soggy.
