Instructions
Step 1: Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks.
Step 2: Add garlic and ginger to the beef. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Step 3: Stir in the cabbage and carrots. Cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring frequently, until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Step 4: Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir well to coat everything evenly and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Step 5: Remove from heat. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Step 6: Serve hot on its own or over rice or noodles for a more filling meal.
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave before serving. This stir fry also works great for meal prep.
