Hearty Meaty Spaghetti with Melted Cheese

Instructions

Step 1: In a large skillet or saucepan, cook the ground meat over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Step 2: Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
Step 3: Pour in the marinara sauce and stir in oregano, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
Step 4: Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and add to the meat sauce. Toss to combine.
Step 5: Spread the spaghetti mixture evenly in a large oven-safe skillet or baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Step 6: Cover and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Optionally broil for 2-3 minutes for a golden top.
Step 7: Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
