Heavenly Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

Instructions

Step 1: In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy. Stir in sugar, melted butter, eggs, and salt. Gradually add flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.

Step 2: Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Step 3: Roll out the dough into a 16×12-inch rectangle. Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon mixture.

Step 4: Starting from the long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log. Slice into 12 equal pieces and arrange in a greased 9×13-inch baking pan. Cover and let rise for 30-45 minutes until puffy.

Step 5: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly.

Step 6: For the frosting, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing until creamy. Spread over warm rolls and serve.
