Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a loaf pan.
Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, chopped onion, minced garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Mix gently until just combined; avoid overmixing.
Step 3: Shape the mixture into a loaf on the prepared baking sheet or press it into the loaf pan.
Step 4: In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce for the glaze. Spread half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
Step 5: Bake for 45-55 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). Halfway through, brush the remaining glaze over the meatloaf.
Step 6: Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve.
Storage Information
Store leftover meatloaf in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat slices in the microwave or oven until warmed through. Meatloaf can also be frozen (whole or sliced) for up to 3 months; thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating.
