Instructions
step 1 Season steak cubes with salt and pepper.
step 2 Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak pieces in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Work in batches if necessary. Remove steak and set aside.
step 3 Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
step 4 Stir in honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Simmer the sauce for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
step 5 Return the steak to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until heated through and glazed.
step 6 Serve the steak over warm cooked rice and spoon extra sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over low heat or in the microwave until warmed through. Add a splash of water or broth to loosen the sauce if needed. Not suitable for freezing due to the sauce texture.
