Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the baking sheet, sealing any seams.
Step 3: Spread Dijon mustard evenly over the dough if using.
Step 4: Layer the ham slices evenly over the dough, then top with cheese slices.
Step 5: Unroll the second can of dough and place it over the top. Press the edges together to seal.
Step 6: In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder. Brush the mixture over the top crust and sprinkle with parsley.
Step 7: Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and cooked through.
Step 8: Let rest for 5 minutes, then slice into squares and serve warm.
Storage Information:
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5–7 minutes to maintain flakiness. These sandwiches are not ideal for freezing as the texture of the dough may change.
