If you hear ringing in your ears, here’s what it means

If you ask a doctor, they’ll likely tell you about tinnitus, ear fatigue, or pressure fluctuations in the inner ear. But in many spiritual traditions—from East to West—these buzzing sounds are seen as messages from elsewhere.

Much like a phone suddenly picking up a frequency, some people believe these sounds are signals: a  subtle vibration , a call from the universe, a whisper from your spirit guide, or even… your higher self.

Right ear: a positive message from matter

When ringing occurs in the right ear, it is often interpreted as a favorable sign. Like a benevolent wink from the universe, it can mean:

• That you are on the right track: an important choice or a project  may be beginning to take shape .
• May someone think of you with affection.
• That your thoughts have a  considerable power of attraction  : be careful what you imagine, because it could come true.

In spiritual traditions, the right ear is associated with the material world: money, work, important decisions, and concrete relationships. This buzzing could therefore be a gentle nudge to encourage you to take action or make the right choice.
