Instructions:
Step 1: Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Step 3: In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes if using.
Step 4: Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens.
Step 5: Return the chicken to the skillet and mix to coat. Add cooked pasta and toss everything together until well combined.
Step 6: Garnish with chopped basil or parsley if desired. Serve hot.
Storage Information:
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stovetop or microwave, adding a splash of cream or milk to revive the sauce.
