Instructions

Step 1: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Step 2: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Set aside to rest, then slice.

Step 3: Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Step 4: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add cherry tomatoes (if using) and cook until softened.

Step 5: Stir in cream or marinara sauce. Simmer for 3-5 minutes. Add Parmesan cheese and lemon juice if using. Stir until smooth.

Step 6: Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce until well coated. Top with sliced chicken.

Step 7: Garnish with parsley or basil and serve hot with extra Parmesan if desired.

Storage Information

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave with a splash of cream or water to loosen the sauce. Not recommended for freezing if using cream.
