Instructions
Step 1: Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
Step 2: Pat beef cubes dry and thread them evenly onto the three skewers, leaving slight gaps between pieces for even cooking.
Step 3: In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper to create your marinade.
Step 4: Brush the marinade generously over all sides of the beef skewers and let sit for 15 minutes.
Step 5: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 6: Cut potatoes into thick fries, toss with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper, then grill or bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy.
Step 7: Grill the beef skewers for 10-12 minutes total, turning every 3 minutes, until meat reaches your desired doneness and has a beautiful charred exterior.
Step 8: While everything cooks, prepare your salad by tossing lettuce in a bowl and topping with fresh tomato slices and red onion rings.
Step 9: Drizzle salad with vinaigrette if desired and serve everything together on a plate.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftover steak skewers and fries in separate airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep the salad separate to prevent wilting.
Reheat skewers and fries on a baking sheet at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes until warmed through. Avoid using the microwave as it can dry out the beef and make fries soggy.
For best results, prepare fresh salad right before eating rather than storing it with dressing overnight.
