Instructions
Step 1: In a large bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Step 2: In another bowl whisk together the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Step 3: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Step 4: Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over low to medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
Step 5: Pour pancake batter onto the skillet to create bunny shapes by making one large oval for the head and two smaller ovals for the ears.
Step 6: Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then carefully flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
Step 7: Transfer the pancakes to a serving plate and allow them to cool slightly.
Step 8: Use melted chocolate and a piping bag or toothpick to create cute bunny eyes and mouths.
Step 9: Add pink candy stars near the ears for decoration.
Step 10: Serve warm with whipped cream, syrup, or fresh fruit if desired.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftover pancakes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave for 15–20 seconds or warm them in a skillet over low heat. Pancakes can also be frozen for up to 2 months and reheated directly from frozen.
