Lasagna with Ham and Cheese

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.

Step 2: Spread a thin layer of béchamel or Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 3: Layer 3 noodles, followed by ricotta cheese, ham, mozzarella, Swiss or Gruyère, a sprinkle of garlic powder and pepper, and sauce. Repeat layers twice more.

Step 4: Top with remaining sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Step 5: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Step 6: Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Storage Information

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) or in the microwave. Lasagna can also be frozen before or after baking; thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating.
