Step 1 Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
/n Step 2 Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned.
/n Step 3 Drain excess grease, then add taco seasoning and water, stirring to combine. Simmer for 3–5 minutes.
/n Step 4 Spread tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter.
/n Step 5 Layer cooked beef and black beans over the chips.
/n Step 6 Sprinkle cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese evenly over the top.
/n Step 7 Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted.
/n Step 8 Remove from oven and top with diced tomatoes, red onion, green onions, and jalapeños.
/n Step 9 Drizzle with sour cream and salsa before serving.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) to help maintain crispness.
Microwave reheating is possible but may make the chips soggy.
For best results, store toppings separately and assemble fresh when reheating.
