Step 1 Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
/n Step 2 Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned.
/n Step 3 Add chopped onion and cook until softened, then stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
/n Step 4 Season the beef with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
/n Step 5 Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
/n Step 6 Layer the mashed potatoes evenly over the beef.
/n Step 7 Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the top.
/n Step 8 Add crumbled bacon evenly across the surface.
/n Step 9 Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
/n Step 10 Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until warmed through.
Microwave reheating is possible but may soften the texture.
This casserole can be frozen for up to 2 months; thaw overnight before reheating.
