Instructions
Step 1. In a bowl mix the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Form into two thick burger patties.
Step 2. Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4–5 minutes per side until nicely browned.
Step 3. Place cheddar cheese slices on the patties during the last minute of cooking so the cheese melts.
Step 4. Pound the chicken breasts slightly to even thickness.
Step 5. In a bowl mix flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt.
Step 6. Dip the chicken in buttermilk, then coat thoroughly in the seasoned flour.
Step 7. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan and fry the chicken until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5–7 minutes.
Step 8. In a small bowl combine mayonnaise, hot sauce, and chopped parsley to create a creamy sauce.
Step 9. Toast the brioche buns lightly with butter in a skillet until golden.
Step 10. Assemble the burger by placing a beef patty on the bottom bun, add melted cheese, top with the fried chicken pieces, drizzle with the sauce, and finish with the top bun.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftover burger components separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat the beef patties in a skillet over medium heat and warm the fried chicken in an oven or air fryer at 180°C (350°F) for about 5–7 minutes to restore crispiness. Assemble the burger fresh after reheating for the best texture and flavor.
