Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2: If using frozen meatballs, bake or microwave according to package directions until heated through.
Step 3: Spread mashed potatoes evenly in the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 4: Arrange the cooked meatballs over the mashed potatoes.
Step 5: Pour the brown gravy evenly over the meatballs and potatoes.
Step 6: Sprinkle cheese over the top if using.
Step 7: Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 8: Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven until hot. This dish can also be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated, then baked just before serving.
