Instructions
Step 1: In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until evenly moistened.
Step 2: Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish to form the crust. Chill in the fridge while preparing the filling.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Step 4: Fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
Step 5: Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the chilled crust.
Step 6: Spoon the cherry pie filling over the top and spread gently.
Step 7: Refrigerate the bars for at least 4 hours, or until set.
Step 8: Slice into squares and serve chilled.
Storage Information
Store leftover bars covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. For best texture, do not freeze, as the whipped topping may separate.
