Step 1: In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, milk, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
Step 2: Form the mixture into small meatballs.
Step 3: Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides.
Step 4: Pour in the marinara sauce and water or broth, stirring gently.
Step 5: Add the uncooked spaghetti, breaking it in half if needed to fit, and submerge it in the liquid.
Step 6: Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Step 7: Cook until the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened.
Step 8: Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes if desired.
Step 9: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
