Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper./n
Step 2: In a bowl, mix ground beef with onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder./n
Step 3: Divide the mixture into 4 portions and shape into thin patties slightly larger than the bread slices./n
Step 4: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 3–4 minutes per side until browned./n
Step 5: Lightly butter each slice of bread and place them on the baking sheet./n
Step 6: Toast the bread in the oven for 5 minutes until slightly crisp./n
Step 7: Remove from oven and place one slice of cheese on each piece of toast./n
Step 8: Top with a cooked beef patty, then add another slice of cheese on top of the patty./n
Step 9: Return to the oven and bake for 5–7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly./n
Step 10: Remove, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes or in a skillet over low heat until warmed through. Avoid microwaving to keep the bread crispy.
