Instructions
Step 1: Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a sealed bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form.
Step 3: Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then continue beating until stiff peaks form.
Step 4: In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Step 5: Mix the melted chocolate and cocoa powder into the cream cheese until fully combined.
Step 6: Gently fold half of the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture until smooth and fluffy.
Step 7: Spoon or pipe a layer of crushed Oreo crumbs into the bottom of each serving glass.
Step 8: Add a layer of chocolate mousse over the cookie crumbs.
Step 9: Repeat the layers until the glasses are filled, finishing with mousse on top.
Step 10: Top each parfait with a dollop of whipped cream.
Step 11: Sprinkle extra chocolate cookie crumbs over the whipped cream.
Step 12: Garnish with whole or halved Oreo cookies before serving.
Step 13: Chill the parfaits in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving for the best texture.
