Pan Seared Steak with Garlic Herb Potato Wedges

Instructions:
step 1 Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
step 2 In a large bowl, toss potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, parsley, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
step 3 Spread the wedges on the baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
step 4 While potatoes bake, season steaks generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
step 5 Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side, depending on thickness and desired doneness.
step 6 During the last minute, add butter, smashed garlic, and rosemary or thyme to the skillet. Tilt the pan and spoon the melted butter over the steaks to baste.
step 7 Remove steaks from the skillet and let rest for 5-10 minutes.
step 8 Serve the sliced steak with garlic herb potato wedges. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Storage and Reheating Tips:
Store leftovers in separate airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat steak gently in a skillet or oven at low heat. Reheat potato wedges in the oven or air fryer to maintain crispiness.
