Instructions:
step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined and form into 4 equal patties.
step 2: Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook burger patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.
step 3: During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and cover to melt.
step 4: While burgers cook, grill pineapple rings for 1–2 minutes per side until lightly caramelized.
step 5: Toast hamburger buns on the grill or skillet with butter, if desired.
step 6: Assemble burgers by spreading remaining BBQ sauce on the bottom buns. Place patties on top.
step 7: Add grilled pineapple rings and crispy bacon over each burger.
step 8: Top with the bun lid and serve immediately with fries or a summer salad.
Storage and Reheating Tips:
Store leftover patties and toppings separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat patties in a skillet over medium heat or in the microwave. Reheat pineapple and bacon gently to preserve texture. Assemble fresh when ready to eat.
