Instructions
Step 1: Bring a saucepan of water to a gentle boil.
Step 2: Carefully add the eggs and cook for 7–9 minutes for jammy yolks or 10–12 minutes for firmer yolks.
Step 3: Transfer the eggs to an ice bath and allow them to cool for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Peel the eggs and slice them in halves.
Step 5: Toast the bread slices until golden brown. Spread lightly with butter if desired.
Step 6: Slice the tomatoes into even rounds.
Step 7: Arrange the egg halves, cheese slices, tomato slices, and toast on a serving plate.
Step 8: Season the eggs with salt and black pepper to taste.
Step 9: Prepare a cup of hot tea according to package directions.
Step 10: Serve immediately while the toast is warm and the tea is hot.

Store leftover eggs, cheese, and tomatoes in separate airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Keep toast at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 1 day and re-toast before serving.
