Step 6: In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
Step 7: Scoop small portions of whipped cream onto a parchment-lined tray and freeze briefly until firm.
Step 8: Flatten portions of mochi dough into circles.
Step 9: Add a spoonful of peach jam or diced peaches to the center along with a portion of whipped cream.
Step 10: Carefully wrap the mochi dough around the filling and pinch the edges closed.
Step 11: Roll gently into smooth round shapes.
Step 12: Decorate the tops with whipped cream, small pink blossom decorations, and edible leaves.
Step 13: Chill the mochi desserts for at least 1 hour before serving.
