Instructions:
step 1 In a bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 oval patties.
step 2 Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
step 3 In the same skillet, melt butter and add sliced onions. Cook until softened and caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.
step 4 Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until thickened, then season with salt and pepper.
step 5 Return patties to the skillet and simmer in the gravy for another 5-7 minutes, spooning gravy over the top.
step 6 For mashed potatoes, boil cubed potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper.
step 7 Steam green beans until just tender. Toss with butter, salt, pepper, and top with crumbled bacon.
step 8 Warm the dinner rolls and serve alongside Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans.
Storage and Reheating Tips:
Store components in separate airtight containers in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat Salisbury steak and gravy in a skillet over low heat. Potatoes and green beans can be microwaved or reheated on the stove with a splash of water or butter. Rolls can be warmed in the oven or microwave.
