Savory Beef Noodles with Broccoli

Instructions:
step 1 Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
step 2 In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and black pepper. Set aside.
step 3 Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until bright green and just tender. Remove and set aside.
step 4 Add remaining 1 tbsp oil to the pan. Sear the beef in batches for 2-3 minutes until browned and just cooked through. Do not overcrowd the pan.
step 5 Add garlic to the pan and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Return broccoli to the pan.
step 6 Pour in the sauce mixture and toss to coat everything evenly. If you’d like a thicker sauce, stir in cornstarch slurry and simmer until thickened.
step 7 Add cooked noodles to the pan and toss well until heated through and evenly coated.
step 8 Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds or sliced green onions if desired.

Storage and Reheating Tips:
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat with a splash of water or broth to loosen the sauce. Microwave in short intervals if needed. This dish is not ideal for freezing due to the noodle texture.
