Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Step 2: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease and let cool slightly.
Step 3: In a large bowl, mix together the cooked sausage, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Step 4: Spoon the filling evenly into the halved jalapeño peppers and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 5: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the jalapeños are tender and the tops are golden and bubbly.
Step 6: Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
Storage Information
Store leftover stuffed jalapeño bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer at 350°F for 5-7 minutes until warmed through. They can also be frozen before baking—just bake straight from frozen, adding an extra 5-10 minutes to the cooking time.
