Shrimp Avocado Delight

Instructions

Step 1: In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, lime juice, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes.

Step 2: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

Step 3: Place avocado halves on a serving plate. Gently scoop out a small portion of each avocado center to make room for the filling.

Step 4: Fill each avocado half with sautéed shrimp. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the shrimp.

Step 5: If desired, place the filled avocados under a broiler for 1–2 minutes to melt the cheese, watching closely.

Step 6: Top with chopped cilantro and optional toppings like jalapeños or hot sauce. Serve immediately.

Storage Information

This dish is best enjoyed fresh, but you can store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 day. To prevent browning, squeeze a bit of lime juice over the avocado. Not suitable for freezing.
