Instructions
Step 1: Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Step 2: Add the shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for 2–3 minutes or until shrimp is pink and just cooked. Remove from heat.
Step 3: Assemble each sandwich by layering shredded cheese and shrimp mixture between two slices of bread.
Step 4: Spread the outside of the bread slices with mayonnaise or remaining butter.
Step 5: In a skillet or griddle over medium heat, cook the sandwiches until golden brown on both sides and cheese is melted, about 3–4 minutes per side.
Step 6: Serve hot, garnished with parsley and Parmesan if desired.
Storage Information
Shrimp Grilled Gourmet Cheese is best enjoyed fresh. If needed, store in the refrigerator for up to 1 day and reheat in a skillet or toaster oven for best results.
