Simple Steamed Veggie Medley

Instructions

Step 1: Bring a pot of water to a boil and place a steamer basket over it. Add broccoli and carrots to the basket.

Step 2: Cover and steam for 5–6 minutes, then add peas and steam for an additional 2–3 minutes, until all vegetables are tender but still vibrant.

Step 3: Remove from heat and transfer vegetables to a large bowl.

Step 4: Drizzle with olive oil or toss with butter. Add garlic if using, then season with salt and pepper.

Step 5: Toss gently and serve warm as a side dish.

Storage Information

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or sauté briefly in a skillet until warmed through.
