Instructions

step 1 In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
step 2 Form the mixture into 4–6 oval-shaped patties.
step 3 Place the patties in the bottom of a crockpot.
step 4 Top each patty with sliced mushrooms.
step 5 In a separate bowl, whisk together gravy mix and water or broth until smooth.
step 6 Pour the gravy over the patties and mushrooms in the slow cooker.
step 7 Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the patties are fully cooked and tender.
step 8 Serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or over egg noodles.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop over medium heat until warmed through. Add a splash of water or broth to loosen the gravy if needed.
