Slow Cooker Smothered Pork Chops

Instructions:
step 1 Season pork chops on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
step 2 Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Transfer to the slow cooker.
step 3 In the same skillet, sauté chopped onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits.
step 4 Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until smooth, then pour over the pork chops in the slow cooker.
step 5 Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until pork chops are tender.
step 6 (Optional) To thicken the sauce, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl and stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
step 7 Serve smothered pork chops with mashed potatoes, rice, or your favorite side dish. Spoon gravy over the top.

Storage and Reheating Tips:
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet over medium-low heat or in the microwave. Add a splash of broth or water to loosen the gravy if needed. These pork chops also freeze well for up to 2 months.
