Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 2: In a large bowl, mix together hash browns, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Step 3: Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Step 4: Arrange sliced smoked sausage over the top and sprinkle with the remaining cheddar cheese.
Step 5: Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with golden edges.
Step 6: Garnish with dried parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) or in the microwave until heated through. Freezing is possible; wrap tightly and freeze for up to 2 months, then thaw in the fridge before reheating.
